With his years of experience under previous aliases and as part of a collective, Nino Luckerhoff brings fresh energy to the house music scene with his newest and final form, Dan Dusty. It is set to be his most personal and unique project to date. One where he alone can share his skills as a diskjockey and his passion for music.
Born in 1995, Nino grew up with major musical influences from primarily old-school hip-hop, disco and soul & funk. His parents, who are great music lovers too, shared their love for music with him at an early age. Later in his teenage years, he conformed from a true hip-hop enthusiast to a house music lover.
In the following years, he continued this passion for music with a broadened horizon and grown interest in collecting vinyl. It was only a short period later that he co-founded a collective called: LA OS Soundystem. Founded by and for friends, they pursued a dream to share their love of music by hosting events, inviting their favourite diskjockeys and performing across their region.
Over the course of these 4 years, Dan Dusty gained his experience as a performer playing at Mysteryland, Thuishaven, Lovelee and Club Atelier to name just a few. With a refreshing house music sound that is influenced by SlapFunk, FUSE, Dungeon Meat and more. He creates an ever-captivating sound throughout his sets with uplifting vocals, deep grooves and heavy basslines. It is characterised by a mix of on-trend music, personal favourites and old school treasures. Always seeking to deliver the right tracks at the perfect moment. Supported by a vinyl collection that holds a variety of unique tracks and exclusive weapons.
